Grace Period for Extended Warranty
Peplink will grant a 14 day grace period for extended warranty purchase to all partners and customers. During the Grace Period, customers will be eligible to purchase an extended warranty for the expired device from the Peplink Online Store without provision of diagnostic report.
After the grace period, customers of Velocity Products will be able to purchase an extended warranty after supplying a diagnostic report within 1 year from the warranty, or extended warranty expiry date. Customers of Blue Chip Products will have up to 2 years to purchase SmartCare / TotalCare from the warranty, or extended warranty.
Below details some highlights of Peplink’s updated warranty policy, effective from 16 April 2019:
Velocity Product Hardware:
- During the warranty coverage period, customers can purchase an extended warranty for the velocity hardware from the Peplink online store. The extended warranty begins on the day after the original warranty expiry date.
- Upon warranty expiration, a grace period of 14 days will be granted. During the grace period, customers will be able to purchase an extended warranty from the Peplink online store. The extended warranty begins on the day after the original warranty expiry date.
- Between the 15th day up to 1 year from the warranty expiry date, subject to a satisfactory diagnostic report, customers can purchase the extended warranty (via manual order issued by Peplink order team, until the online diagnostic report submission automation is ready). The extended warranty begins on the day after the original warranty expiry date.
Blue Chip Product Hardware (and MOQ Category product, which includes Balance 30 Pro)
- During the warranty coverage period, customers can purchase an extended warranty or SmartCare (or TotalCare, only available for US and Canada End User) (“SmartCare”) for the Blue Chip hardware from the Peplink online store. The extended warranty begins on the day after the original warranty expiry date; whereas the SmartCare begins from the date of purchase, unless otherwise specified by the customer.
- Upon warranty expiration, a grace period of 14 days will be granted. During the grace period, customers will still be able to purchase an extended warranty or SmartCare from the Peplink online store. The extended warranty begins on the day after the original warranty expiry date; whereas the SmartCare begins from the date of purchase, unless otherwise specified by the customer.
- Between the 15th day and up to 2 years from the warranty expiry date, subject to a satisfactory diagnostic report, customers can purchase the SmartCare (via manual order issued by Peplink order team, until the online diagnostic report submission automation is ready). The SmartCare warranty date begins from the date of purchase. If the diagnostic report is unavailable or failed, customers will only be entitled to purchase out of warranty repair services. Out of warranty repaired hardware will be entitled to One year extended Warranty from the shipment date.
